Legal aid is regarded as one of the central mechanisms for providing assistance in accessing justice, by ensuring equality before the law, the right to counsel, and the right to a fair trial. At Asian Law College, we are committed to promoting an inclusive Legal Aid Centre with the purpose of extending all possible means of justice to the marginalised and vulnerable sections of society. The Centre is dedicated to providing effective legal literacy and awareness, with the aim of bridging the gap between legally available benefits and their entitled beneficiaries. The Legal Aid Centre of Asian Law College functions in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, District Court, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Greater Noida. Through this collaboration, the Centre provides students with ample opportunities to observe and engage with the functioning of National Lok Adalats, correctional institutions, courts, and other allied bodies within the legal system.
