The Research and Development Cell at Asian Law College is responsible for formulating comprehensive guidelines related to research and publication, ensuring that scholarly activity within the institution is conducted with rigour, integrity, and academic excellence. The Cell undertakes in-depth research projects on socio-legal aspects of contemporary relevance, aiming to advance education, research, and outreach across key areas of law. It serves as a dynamic forum for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and understanding of socio-legal issues among academics, practitioners, and legal experts, thereby bridging the gap between theoretical scholarship and practical application. Research is a continuous process of discovering, analysing, and deliberating upon new horizons across diverse fields of study. Law and legal research exert an all-pervasive influence on the way decisions are made not only within the legal world, but also across governments and societies at large. The intersection of law with social, political, and economic realities makes legal research an indispensable tool for informed policymaking, judicial reasoning, and the pursuit of justice. Fostering a conducive research environment and providing a platform for the dissemination of quality legal scholarship has been a constant endeavor of the Research & Development Cell at ALC. In continuation of these efforts, we are pleased to present the Journal of Asian Law College - a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed research journal published by Asian Law College, Noida. The journal is committed to publishing original, thought-provoking research that engages with the dynamic and ever-evolving disciplines of law, and welcomes contributions from academicians, researchers, legal professionals, and scholars across disciplines.
To become a center of excellence in socio-legal education by focused research pursuits through interface with lawyers, academicians and other legal experts.
